It's an Australian town famous for having one of the world's largest smelters and residents even argue it is the birthplace of the pie floater.
However, the South Australian town of Port Pirie is famous for another reason - dubbed year after year as one of the country's 'sh*ttest towns'.
After years of trolling, outraged residents have had enough, with some even threatening to kill the man who does the rankings.
Writer, author and comedian Geoff Rissole has repeatedly targeted Port Pirie in a long-running segment on his popular Facebook page 'S**t Towns of Australia', after it landed in the public-voted top ten for 2022.
Port Pirie, located around 220km north of Adelaide, made an appearance on the list for a third year in a row in 2022, ranking fourth after scoring 22.7 per cent of votes.
